2004 NFL Draft Preview
2004 NFL Draft Preview by Mike Jones of

The natives are getting restless. Teams have been very active in the off-season this year with the Eagles picking up Owens to fill a need they would have had to address in this years draft. The Eagles don't want to take a chance in the draft to address the receiver position or they don't want to wait for the draft pick to develop. Owens is a great pick up for this team.
Other teams, like the Dolphins, are trying to make some cap room while they prepare to address their needs in the upcoming 2004 NFL Draft. With Maurice Clarett of Ohio State winning his appeal and college superstars that have declared their eligibility in the 2004 NFL Draft like Kellen Winslow of the University of Miami, Mike Williams of University
of Southern California and Chris
Gamble of Ohio State, we are calling it "The Year of the Underclassmen". The Hurricanes continue to breed NFL caliber players, look for 6 University of Miami players to be selected in the first round. It is always interesting to see which teams do well in the draft and which teams self destruct. We will see on April 24th and 25th when the 2004 NFL Draft is broadcasted live on ESPN from New York City.
Take a look at my 2004 NFL Predictions.
