Going into the final against France in Berlin, Buffon was only scored on 1 time the entire tournament. Cristian Zaccardo from the USA was a bright spot in the tournament, scoring against the Italian.
Zinedine Zidane was the only other player Buffon let score in a penaly kick at the beginning of the game.
