NFL Predictions Week 14 - Bet Browns vs Bills - Sunday, December 12th, 1:00PM ET CBS
The NFL predictions week 14 on the Pro Football 2010 season are out on the Cleveland Browns vs Buffalo Bills Sunday afternoon football match-up. This Sunday the Cleveland Browns head to Ralph Wilson Stadium as a 1 1/2 point underdog to battle the Buffalo Bills.
The Cleveland Browns offense vs the Buffalo Bills defense is pretty much even. The Browns are 27th in yards and 26th in points, while the Bills are 26th in yards allowed and 29th in points allowed. There's one thing that is the deciding factor in this matchup, and that's the running games. The Browns have a great running in Peyton Hillis, who I believe is the breakout player this year, going against the worst rushing defense in the league. Expect the Browns to do what they do best, and that's run the ball. Don't be surprised if Peyton Hillis rushes for over 175 yards this game. The NFL predictions week 14 advantage goes to the Browns.

The Buffalo Bills offense vs the Cleveland Browns defense is similar. The Bills are 26th in yards and 22nd in points, while the Browns are 22nd in yards allowed and 12th in points allowed. The one thing that the Browns can do is get interceptions, 2nd in the league in interceptions, whereas the Bills do turn the ball over. The Bills need to run the ball more with their 2 underrated running backs against this 20th ranked rushing defense. I know they are down the whole game, which is why they throw it more often. But if they do throw it more times then run, the Browns will get those turnovers. The NFL predictions advantage goes to the Browns.
The special teams favor the Browns. The Browns are last in kickoff return average but are 8th in punt return average, while the Bills are 15th in kickoff return average and 19th in punt return average. The Browns are 1st in kickoff return average allowed and 6th in punt return average allowed, while the Bills are 19th in kickoff return average allowed and 21st in punt return average allowed. The problem with the Bills is that since they don't score often, and they might not score a lot this game, the Browns won't have to worry about their poor kickoff return game. Meanwhile, the Bills might be punting the ball a lot, which means the Browns will have plenty of opportunities with their punt return team and one of dangerous return players in the league in Josh Cribbs. NFL predictions week 14 advantage goes to the Browns.
Eric Mangini, head coach of the Cleveland Browns, with Rob Ryan as the defensive coordinator, and Mike Holmgren as the President, has great schemes and is good at changing things around when they need to. Chan Gailey, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, always has his team in games. The only issue is finishing games. Eric Mangini and Rob Ryan will dissect this Bills defense. Advantage goes to the Browns.
My NFL predictions week 14 on the Cleveland Browns vs Buffalo Bills Sunday afternoon football game is out. The Browns have been playing great, and it has been because of the running game. There is no way this Bills defense is going to stop this rushing attack. Besides for this last game, the Bills are always in the game. For some reason they just can't finish the game. I see that happening again this week. I could see the Bills staying in the game for 3 quarters, but then just lose it, whether it's a turnover or a costly penalty or just a dropped pass. The Browns win this one 31-21.
