2010 NFL Week 14 Predictions New York Giants vs Minnesota Vikings![]() Eli Manning Giants Quarterback 2010 NFL Week 14 Predictions - Bet Giants vs Vikings - Sunday, December 12th, 1:00PM ET FOX The 2010 NFL week 14 predictions on the NFL football betting season are out on the New York Giants vs the Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon football match-up. This Sunday the New York Giants head to Mall of America Field as a 1 1/2 point road favorite to battle the Minnesota Vikings. The New York Giants offense vs the Minnesota Vikings defense is a good matchup. The Giants are 4th in yards and 5th in points, while the Vikings are 6th in yards allowed and 15th in points allowed. The matchup to watch is the 6th ranked rushing offense against the 4th ranked rushing defense. It will be up to Giants quarterback Eli Manning to make plays in the passing game to set up the running game. Although, Eli Manning is only good if the running game is good. If he has to make the running game good, then they will be in trouble. He has 17 interceptions; that is 3rd in the league. The Giants as a whole give up the most turnovers. The 2010 NFL week 14 predictions advantage goes to the Vikings. Check out BOVADA and start winning NOW! The Minnesota Vikings offense vs the New York Giants defense favor the Giants. The Vikings are 18th in yards but 27th in points, but the Giants are 2nd in yards allowed and 13th in points allowed. The Vikings have one of the best running backs in the league, Adrian Peterson. He is going up against this 7th ranked rushing defense. It will be up to him to be productive in order for the passing game to work. The Giants just get after the quarterback, 3rd in sacks, and they get a lot of turnovers. NFL predictions advantage goes to the Giants. The special teams are a wash up because the return games for both teams aren't that good. The Giants are 31st in kickoff return average and 30th in punt return average, while the Vikings are 23rd in kickoff return average and 21st in punt return average. the Giants though are 2nd in kickoff return average allowed but 27th in punt return average allowed, while the Vikings are 22nd in kickoff return average allowed but 3rd in punt return average allowed. It will go down to the better field position, and since this game is going to be a defensive game, the Vikings are good at pinning their opponents inside the 20. So I will give the 2010 NFL week 14 predictions advantage to the Vikings. This is an interesting coaching matchup. This will be the 3rd game for Vikings new head coach, Leslie Fraizer. He is putting in more of a balance attack, with more running plays than passing plays. That's how the Vikings offense should look like, especially when they have Adrian Peterson. To be honest with you, I don't think the Giants have that good of a coaching staff. I do believe that it is their players that are very good at executing any play. You can see it during games when players make mistakes, and I blame it on the coaches because of the play calling. In this matchup however, I am not giving the advantage yet to the Vikings because I want to see how Leslie Fraizer can handle a good defense like this. So I am giving the advantage to the Giants. My 2010 NFL week 14 predictions on the New York Giants vs the Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon football game is out. The Vikings do give up the deep pass, so we will see if the Giants can throw the ball deep. It will depend on who will be the quarterback for the Vikings. We don't know if Brett Favre is going to play. If he does, he will be vulnerable against this Giants pass rush. If he doesn't play, then Tarvaris Jackson will be the quarterback. He is more of a scrambler and making plays out of the pocket. This will change the Giants way of getting to the quarterback which will help the Vikings. Either way, the Giants are going to win this one 23-14. --- by Eric Price at 1800-sports.com on December 08, 2010
