Heisman Trophy hopeful Adrian Peterson was Oklahoma's star running back last season. He had some outstanding numbers which included 1,012 yards on 188 carries with 12 touchdowns. Oklahoma's quarterback Paul Thompson also had a great year with 204 completions on 336 attempts for 2,667 yards with 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
