Carolina Panthers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Preseason The Carolina Panthers head south to play their second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game set for Saturday, August 19th at 7:30 PM at ALLTEL Stadium in Jacksonville, FL. The Panthers defeated the Bills 14 - 13 in their preseason open. Keyshawn Johnson shined with his new team. He caught two passes from Jake Delhomme in the opening drive. Panther's linebacker Adam Seward proved to be a worthy player by blocking a punt from Brian Moorman. Reserve tackle Tony Brown also had two sacks for Carolina.
The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Miami Dolphins 31 - 26 in their preseason opener. All three of the Jaguars' quarterbacks connected deep for a total of 321 passing yards. Jaguar's rookie third-string defensive back Jamaal Fudge had a sack and 11 tackles, eight of them unassisted.

The Carolina Panthers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 17 - 10 winning their second preseason game. Panther's quarterback Jake Delhomme went 10/18 for 129 yards. Running back Alex Haynes had 4 carries for 30 yards and Jamal Robertson had 2 carries for 29 yards. Wide receiver Keary Colbert had 2 receptions for 45 yards and Keyshawn Johnson had 3 carries for 38 yards.
