The Pittsburgh Steelers are still looking for their first preseason win. They are 0-3. In the Steelers week 1 loss to the Cardinals Ben Roethlisberger took it very easy and only played for a few plays. They lost their week 2 game 17 - 10 to the Vikings. The Eagles beat them 16 - 7 last week. Ben Roethlisberger could not get any points during his two series. He finished 9 of 14 for 52 yards with one interception.
The Panthers beat the Steelers 15 - 13 finishing 4-0 for the preseason, while the Steelers fall to 0-4. Almost no starters were in this not-so-good junior varisty game. John Kasey kicked his fifth field goal on the final play of the game for the win. Backup quarterback Brett Basanez drove the ball well but couldn't get it in the endzone. He finished 15/26 for 148 yards. Shelton had 10 carries on 44 yards and McCullum had 3 receptions for 57 yards.
