They beat the Browns 20 - 7 in their week 4 game. Rookie Devin Hester's started the 1st quarter with a 54-yard punt return which set up a 6-yards touchdown pass from Rex Grossman to Desmond Clark. He played for 2 series and finished 5 of 8 for 73 yards. Orton was 13 of 21 for 141 yards with one touchdown. Pope had 15 carries for 69 yards with one touchdown and Currie had 5 receptions for 58 yards.

The Packers finished last in the same division with a record of 4-12. Green Bay finished 1-3 for the preseason. During week 2 they beat the Falcons 38 - 10. Brett Favre was 16 of 22 for 134 yards with two touchdown passes. Running back Arliss Beach had 9 carries for 50 yards. Rookie wide receiver Greg Jennings had 3 receptions for 115 yards with 1 touchdown.

The Bears delivered the first shutout of Brett Favre's 16-year career, beating the Packers 26 - 0. Rex Grossman led Chicago completing 18 of 26 for 262 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Running back's Thomas Jones had 21 carries for 63 yards and Cedric Benson had 11 carries for 34 yards. Wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad had 6 receptions for 102 yards for a 17.0 avg. Tight end Desmond Clark had 5 receptions for 77 yards for a 15.4 avg.

Brett Favre completed 15 of 29 for 170 yards with two interceptions. Running back Ahman Green had 20 carries for 110 yards. Wide receiver Donald Driver had 7 receptions for 96 yards for a 13.7 avg. Tight end Donald Lee had 1 reception for 25 yards.
