So one has to believe they will have their hands full with Atlanta, which can come with its two-fisted backfield of Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood, who were limited to just 60 combined yards last week but are fully capable of much more. It's quite possible that Tyler Thigpen, the youngster from Coastal Carolina who came into the game in relief last week, could be the starter. This would mark the first start and first game on the road for Thigpen, who showed that he could move the team in the pre-season, and has some ability to roll out and use his legs, but completed just 14 of 33 against Oakland and had some problems with decision-making. Edwards is in the process of trying to determine who can be a quarterback he can take into the future with him, which is the rationale behind them handing the job to Brodie Croyle (now injured) in the first place, and that almost guarantees that Thigpen will see some quality time here.
