The Buffalo Bills also had a tough 2006 season. They finished with a 7-9 record in the AFC East division. The Bills did have two top five leaders, London Fletcher and Aaron Schobel. Line backer London Fletcher was ranked third for defensive leaders with 146 tackles. Defensive end Aaron Schobel was ranked third for sacks with 14.

During the 2007 NFL draft, the Bills picked up California running back Marshawn Lynch. Their second round pick was Penn State offensive line backer Paul Posluszny.
