Georgetown Hoyas Betting Odds to Win the 2007 NCAAB Men's Championship
Bets on Georgetown to win the NCAA men's Championship are being placed. They were the chic pick in the preseason after making the Sweet 16 last year. But losing their backcourt was a tougher adjustment than maybe most of us thought it would be. It simply took the Hoyas a bit longer to get where they needed to be under John Thompson III. The Georgetown Hoyas finished the regular season with a 27-6 record, first in the Big East Conference. The Hoyas played a late-season schedule exceptionally well, winning four road games, including at Louisville and Villanova.
Georgetown beat Belmont 80-55 for their first round game. They went on to beat Boston College 62-55 for their second round game. In the Sweet 16 the Hoyas won by one point 66-65 over Vanderbilt. They now face UNC in the
