Houston Texans vs. St. Louis Rams NFL Preseason The Houston Texans head to St. Louis for their second preseason game against the St. Louis Rams. The game is set for Saturday, August 19th at 8:00 PM at Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, MO. The Texans defeated the Chiefs 24 - 14 in their preseason opener. Houston's number one draft pick Mario Williams did not contribute too much in their victory. It was rookie - sixth round draft pick Wali Lundy who performed great. He ran for 25 yards on his first carry and followed up three plays later for a 3 yard untouched touchdown. He finished with nine carries for 59 yards and one reception for 9 yards. Coach Gary Kubiak was impressed.

The St. Louis Rams defeated the Indianapolis Colts 19 - 17 in their preseason opener. Both teams quickly removed their key players out of harm's way. The Houston Texans beat the St. Louis Rams 27 - 20 for their second preseason win. Running back Vernand Morency had 2 touchdown runs of 4 and 43 yards for a total of 95 yards on 11 carries. Phillip Buchanon returned punt returns of 32 and 33 yards in the Texans big win. Wide receiver Derrick Lewis also scored a 44 yard touchdown. ---
