The Jeg's event brings the country's top NHRA Sportsman racers - the point leader in each class in each division - together for a prize money shoot-out. The VIPsports.com Dodge Stratus Top Alcohol Funny Car, driven by Danny Townsend, will compete in both the National event and the All Stars race for the second year in a row. "Last year, we were runner-up by just a slight margin," commented Frank Parker, team owner. "This year, we're zeroed in on getting Danny to the winner's circle - twice. Running two full events stresses the team, but we love the challenge and we're hungry for win lights." The ParkerTech Racing Services crew has qualified their Mopar Hemi-powered Dodge race cars at every race entered since mid-2001. This year, with just one divisional win, in Gainesville , they are seated sixth in National Top Alcohol Funny Car points and second in Division 3 points. Qualifying for the Top Alcohol category is scheduled for Friday, June 9, at 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm . Saturday, June 10, will be a Sportsman racing fan's smorgasbord. The final Top Alcohol qualifying session will run at 8:45 am . The Jeg's All Star eliminations begin at 10:30 am , continue at 2:30 pm and wrap up with final eliminations at 4:00 pm .
