2011 Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl predictions for the 2010-2011 Pro Football season are out. The Chiefs remain in the hunt for the Super Bowl XLV championship title posting 40/1 odds. They are set to host their AFC rivals Baltimore Ravens in the 1st Round of the 2011 NFL Playoffs this Sunday, January 9th at 1:00PM ET.

The Kansas City offense has a playoff caliber team, number 1 in rushing offense. That's pretty much what you need to do in the playoffs. Their running game sets up the play action pass, in which the Chiefs have one of the best receivers this season, Dwayne Bowe. The Chiefs do not turn the ball over, which is also a big thing in the playoffs which favors the Chiefs Super Bowl predictions.

The Kansas City Chiefs do have a great defense, and they make the big stops when they have to. They are 14th in yards allowed and 11th in points allowed. They are a young defense that when they make a huge stop, they can get pumped up from it and then play very well. So basically all they need to do is make a big play and they will do well the rest of the game.

The special teams' offense isn't that good, but their special teams' defense is very good. They are 28th in kickoff return average and 17th in punt return average. They are however 6th in kickoff return average allowed and 12th in punt return average allowed. They can control the field position game.

This is a great tree of coaching for the Chiefs Super Bowl predictions with Todd Haley, Charlie Weis who is the offensive coordinator, and Romeo Crennel who is the defensive coordinator. Both Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel are one of the 2 bests in what they do, and they have this team playing very well.

Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Predictions

In order to win in the playoffs, you need to run the ball and play good defense. This team has both working for them. They run the ball better than anyone, and maybe the defense isn't the greatest, but they make the big plays. There is just 1 thing that they are missing, and that's the experience of playing in the playoffs. If you take that out of this equation, they have a great chance of winning the super bowl. The odds of them winning are 40-1, but I could really see them making a run as long as they do what they do best.
