The Houston Texans defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 24 - 14. Houston's number one draft pick Mario Williams did not contribute too much in their victory. It was rookie - sixth round draft pick Wali Lundy who performed great. He ran for 25 yards on his first carry and followed up three plays later for a 3 yard untouched touchdown. He finished with nine carries for 59 yards and one reception for 9 yards. Coach Gary Kubiak was impressed.---
