We all have to wait another year (now 33 years since the last) to see if the mighty Triple Crown of Racing is awarded. Lookin At Lucky galloped a mile and a half on Sunday morning and again on Monday with exercise rider Peter Hutton. Bob Baffert plans on flying Lookin at Lucky to Pimlico on Wednesday. Baffert said, "I'm planning on it unless I see something between now and getting on the plane. There's no urgency. I told everybody yesterday to go on and get their rooms and stuff." Lookin at Lucky will also not get a full work in before the race this Saturday. He replied, "We'll just gallop him into the race. He's a different kind of horse. He doesn't need a work." Lookin at Lucky won his first race to start the 2010 horse racing season at the Rebel Stakes on March 13th. He came in third after being bumped into the gate in the Santa Anita Derby on April 3rd for his second race. In his last race, Lookin at Lucky finished 6th in the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands. Lookin at Luck is a 3-year-old colt, owned by Mike Pegram, Karl Watson and Paul Weitman. His trainer is Bob Baffert and Martin Garcia is the most likely jockey. His pedigree is Smart Strike and Private Feeling by Belong To Me. Lookin at Lucky is posting 2.5/1 odds to win the 2010 Preakness Stakes (a $100 wager pays $250).
