Paraguay also came out firing to begin the Copa America tournament. They took on Colombia and shut them down 5-0. Roque Santa Cruz had a brilliant hat trick and Salvador Cabanas picked up the other two goals. On July 2nd, Paraguay took down the Untied States by a score of 3-1.
