Well here is what I do and maybe you can take a few pesos and still get some good action on a day when nothing jumps out at you. I take the highest total and I bet the over, then I take the lowest total and I go under. Here is my logic. You become the bookmaker. If the over/under is high, the oddsmakers are looking for runs so go with them, they know their stuff. Last but not least, I use something I heard from Alex Karras and Paul Hornung. They were NFL players who were suspended for betting on games years ago. They said they would bet heavy on teams that had "off the field" problems.
