Today on BetUS.com Radio 2-4pm EST: MLB betting recap and look ahead, Wimbledon predictions, UFC talk.... More callers picking games for Free Plays....

After a couple of weeks away from ranking the 30 teams in MLB, we've seen a ton of movement on this list. The Pirates are the new punching bag, Atlanta continues to tumble, the Angels are heating up and we have a new number one.

Arizona fell the most spots, while the Twins moved forward an amazing 15 spots! The AL Central and the AL East both have three teams in the top 10. It's safe to say which league is superior right now. Rank (PV Rank) Team & Reason

30 29 Pittsburgh- You really have to stink in order to rank lower than Kansas City. Are you kidding me? There's a lot more talent on this team than the record. Look for major changes in this organization in the near future. If there aren't then something is wrong.

29 30 Kansas City- When their only all-star is a pitcher with an e.r.a. over 5, you know there's a problem. Still, they managed to get out of last place on these rankings, something no one thought would happen.

28 28 Chicago (NL)- Even the return of Derrick Lee hasn't done anything to shake up the Cubbies. That lovable loser tag is back with a vengeance.

27 25 Washington- The Nationals managed to win a few games in a row to have the false appearance of respectability, but we know better. The countdown is on to Soriano being traded. The free agent-to-be has no desire to stay in D.C.

26 21 Atlanta- Yeesh! The league's worst bullpen is now accompanied by a bad pitching staff and a thin batting order.

25 27 Florida- They finally ended a losing streak that took the wind out of their sails, but the Marlins have nothing but promise. We just don't know which city they'll be in when that promise is realized.

24 26 Tampa Bay- A fluke sweep of Boston has elevated the D-Rays to a level we didn't anticipate them reaching again this season. That said, we believe it to be an aberration. Look for Tampa Bay to disappoint fans yet again by trading away Carl Crawford. Wait a second- do they actually have fans anyway?

23 24 Baltimore- Eric Bedard is the only good thing about the team right now. Every other starter in their rotation is quite capable of giving up 8 runs each time out. Look for Tejada to be on the move this month.

22 15 Philadelphia- Way to leave your team high and dry with pure stupidity Brett Myers. The Phillies have a Double A rotation, and I'm not even sure if they'd be successful down there either.

21 10 Arizona- Hurricane Grimsley has ravaged the D-back clubhouse and the result has been disastrous to Arizona's season. What once looked promising has turned into an embarrassment. Sure, things could still turn around. Then again, that's as about likely as Cal Ripken Jr. going on another streak.

20 19 Cleveland- They take two steps forward and then two steps back. The mighty bats may have awoken, but the pitching is just not consistent enough- both the rotation and the bullpen. What a waste.

19 23 Los Angeles (AL)- Seems like they finally understand that Jerod Weaver is absolutely unstoppable. The Angels are backing the right brother and are playing a little better. We'll see how hot Juan Rivera can stay, as he could be a major factor in deciding whether or not this team contends in a weak division.

18 20 Seattle- Hitting has carried them over the last month. Led by Ibanez, Ichiro and Sexson, Seattle wins when their pitching is at least average. Too bad that doesn't happen on a regular basis.

17 18 Milwaukee- The Brew Crew are alive and well in the NL Central. Doug Davis and Chris Capuano are holding the fort, but Ben Sheets HAS to come back strong if they want to finish over .500.

16 14 Houston- The Rocket instantly gives them hope, but the offense might not be good enough to deliver on a promising pitching staff. Seems like Andy Pettite has enjoyed having his buddy Roger back.

15 16 San Francisco- They've been playing steady, we'll give them that. The Giants only have one hope of seizing control of their division and making the playoffs: Barry has to catch fire. Otherwise it'll be a .500 season for them.

14 11 Texas- Same old Rangers. They excite the fans for a while with terrific play, but it ultimately fades. There's something about that city in Arlington, where things go south in July.

13 7 Cincinnati- Talk about crashing. The Reds are not playing well right now and are blowing a golden chance to jump into first place. Cincinnati will actively be looking for a starting pitcher and a closer before the deadline.

t12 17 Colorado- Well, they've stayed in the conversation longer than anyone figured, but the Rockies can play better. Their youth should not be used as an excuse or a crutch and manager Hurdle is making darn sure of it.

t12 9 Los Angeles (NL)- It's such a downer to see a team with talent like this struggle. We don't get it. Man, has J.D. Drew ever fallen off the pace or what?

10 13 San Diego- The Padres clearly have the most upside of any team in their division. However, it's a question of whether or not they have the killer instinct. It seems like they are content hovering around .500.

9 12 Oakland- Things are heating up in Oaktown a little quicker than usual. The question is whether or not they'll trade Barry Zito or make a title run and keep him. It's obvious that the A's don't have the hitting to match other contenders, so look for some more moves from them in the coming weeks.

8 4 St. Louis- Only one word: pitching. They picked up Jeff Weaver, hardly an answer to any team's problems. St. Louis is desperately in need of some quality arms- and fast!

7 22 Minnesota- Wow, now here's a team that has come back from the brink of death to get to where they are- which is still nowhere! It's a tough AL Central, but the Twins are getting top notch pitching from Santana and Liriano and some better hitting. They could still be heard from in the wildcard race.

t6 8 Toronto- Halladay, Janssen and Lilly are doing well in the rotation and the bats continue to perform. Maybe the Blue Jays do have enough to stay in the race. Boy, is B.J. Ryan scary or what?

t6 5 New York (AL)- Injuries have slowed the once mighty Yankees, but they are not done by any means. The starting rotation needs to be addressed, it's just a question of whether they will go with a young minor leaguer or trade a prospect for the typical rent-a-pitcher.

4 1 New York (NL)- The Mets have hit a bit of a wall, but I think it's sheer boredom. No one is pushing them in the National League. However, with an old pitching staff, a demoted Soler and an ailing Pedro, things might not bounce back so quickly.

3 6 Boston- We almost sent them the other way on this list for losing three in a row to Tampa Bay! Nevertheless, things are pretty good right now in Beantown. Manny is happy, Schilling and Beckett are solid, Coco is healthy, Big Pappi is ridiculously good and young pitcher Lester could be the future now.

2 3 Chicago (AL)- The champs are right where they want to be. It's probably better to be the hunters rather than the hunted at this point in the season. We fully expect them to beat out the Tigers for the division.

1 2 Detroit- It's been an amazing run for the Tigers and we'll see how it ends up. We believe they need to pick up a Smoltz or Zito to really compete with the White Sox come postseason time.
