The Jets are listed as the home team but since the stadium will be the home for both teams there is no real edge for either squad in this game. The Jets are 1.5 point favorites with a total of 33.5 at SBG Global. The Giants are looking for a much better season after falling to 8-8 last year while the Jets are considered Super Bowl contenders. The preseason spotlight has been on the Jets since they are on HBO's Hard Knocks series. Head coach Rex Ryan has been touting his squad as Super Bowl contenders but the Jets are missing cornerback Darrelle Revis who is holding out. Join SBG Global and start winning CASH today! The Giants will be trying to improve defensively this season with a new coordinator in Perry Fewell. The Giants added veteran linebacker Keith Bulluck from Tennessee and safety Antrel Rolle from Arizona in the off-season. The starters for the Giants won't see much playing time and that means quarterback Eli Manning probably won't go more than a couple of NFL betting series. The Giants now have an experienced backup quarterback though as they picked up Jim Sorgi in the off-season. He has backed up Peyton Manning in Indianapolis for many years. The third string quarterback who will probably play a lot in the second half is Rhett Bomar. The Giants have a lot of injuries as starting cornerback Terrell Thomas, starting cornerback Corey Webster, Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee, Pro Bowl receiver Steve Smith and tight end Kevin Boss are out due to injury. The Giants are down to one healthy tight end for Monday's game. The Jets won't be giving quarterback Mark Sanchez much playing time so expect to see a lot of new backup quarterback Mark Brunell and third string quarterback Kellen Clemens. Kevin O'Connell could also see playing time in the second half. The defense will be worth watching on Monday since rookie Kyle Wilson and newcomer Antonio Cromartie will be the two cornerbacks with Revis out. The Giants and Jets meet each NFL preseason betting and the Giants have a slight 22-18-1 edge in the series. Last season it was the Jets winning 27-25 over the Giants. The Jets are currently on a three-game winning streak in the series. Up to 295% in Total Bonuses from SBG Global!
