2010 NFL Football Picks

Need some help in finding the best NFL football picks? The NFL picks for this season have already had some predictable contenders come out on top and a quite a few surprises. It is doubtful that anyone making NFL picks would have thought that the Indianapolis Colts to go nearly unbeaten, giving many Dolphin fans a stroke in the process. Anyone making predictions this year for their NFL picks would have certainly gone with the Super Bowl Champs, the Patriots, who are looking for a continuation of their triumph of last year. Notably missing from this years playoff picture are the Philadelphia Eagles, whose quarterback, Donovan McNabb, was sidelined with injuries. The NFL picks for this seasons final playoff games hold some favorites and some surprises.

Having lost only one game this season, the Indianapolis Colts are the favorites over the Wildcard Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts narrowly missed a perfect season when they were upset by the Chargers and are certain to be fired up when they meet the Steelers. Their swift defense and the league leading offense are going to make things very difficult for the Steelers, despite Bill Cower's excellent playoff experience.

Expert NFL football handicapper Mike "The Picker" Jones predicts the New Orleans Saints will win Super Bowl XLIV! At the start of the 2009-2010 NFL betting season the Saints posted +2500 odds to win the Big Game! Now heading into the 2010 Superbowl, the Saints are no longer undefeated but are one of the final two teams left. Bet on the Saints to win Super Bowl XLIV with a +5 (-105) Point Spread and +180 Money Line (a $100 wager pays out $180) or take the Colts -190 Money Line (a $190 wager pays out $100)

The NFC Divisional Playoff is an even closer match with the Carolina Panthers going up against the Chicago Bears. Chicago has the strongest defense in the playoffs and an ex-Panther in Muhsin Muhammad, who will most certainly be fired up. Steve Smith will give the Panthers the edge, however, with his talent for dominating the game.

Another surprising NFL pick is the Seattle Seahawks. Favored to win over the Washington Redskins, the Seahawks have a decided edge with their kicker, Josh Brown. The wager on this match-up will be a close one though. Both team's coaches have playoff experience and it looks to be a good match-up. Get all the NFL picks you need right here!

Finally, the Superbowl Champs, the New England Patriots are set to go head to head with the Denver Broncos. Denver's running game is at the top of its form, but the passing game of Tom Brady may all but negate that. Both teams have superior special teams with veteran kickers Adam Vinatieri and Jason Elam, but the Broncos have home field advantage and the Mile High air will be thin. The Patriots have a sight edge over the Broncos, however and the game looks to be the highlight of the playoffs.
