NFL Betting Predictions by Mike Jones

Will it be another difficult year for NFL predictions? Or will Mike Jones pull through yet again for the 2010-2011 NFL football betting season. Who could have foreseen that the New Orleans Saints would win the Super Bowl betting odds. The previous year's have shown us how difficult NFL predictions can be. Many a Dolphin fan was chewing their nails over the possibility of the Colts breaking Shula's old record two years prior. Perhaps it was the loss to the present Dolphins that fired up the Chargers just enough to take the Colts down. Many might have predicted that the Superbowl champs, the New England Patriots would have made it back to the playoffs, but not many would have seen the Philadelphia Eagles so devastated by injuries that they missed out this time around. No, it was not the year for easy NFL predictions. The Seattle Seahawks, who flew so long under most sportsbook's radar, have turned up in the top of the list this year. The Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers, underdogs both, are set to go head to head in the playoffs, something most week 1 NFL predictions could not have foreseen.

After predicting multiple Super Bowl winners, expert NFL handicapper Mike "The Picker" Jones has returned with his 2011 Super Bowl XLV prediction! When we finally caught up with him for a short comment on his early Super Bowl predictions, Mike quickly exclaimed, "the Jets have a shot this season!" Last March while in Las Vegas Mike dropped "a few bills" on the Jets to win Super Bowl XLV. He continued to say, "with several key play-makers picked up during the off-season and a strong preseason showing....the Jets have a shot to win the Division or even the Lombardi Trophy. No matter how it plays out I had fun in Vegas and can always hedge my bet! How about a Bengals vs Jets AFC showdown?" Whichever side you favor, make your 2010 NFL predictions today and join Mike "The Picker" Jones and bet Super Bowl XLV at Sportsbook.com!

The playoff picture has become a kind of microcosm for the quirkiness of this season. The Patriots seem to be the only predictable outcome of the regular season. As they go up against the Denver Broncos, the question will be whether or not the home field advantage and all that thin air will benefit the Broncos or not. Both have excellent kickers and both have excellent offenses, though the Pats have Tom Brady. Bet on the Patriots taking the Broncos.

The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Indianapolis Colts in one of the AFC Divisional Playoffs. Not many NFL predictions would have taken the Steelers all the way, yet here they are, ready to put another notch in the Colts already-broken Perfect Season. Look for the Colts to rekindle their momentum, however, and take the Steelers to the ground with their huge offensive attack.

Like some Wild West fable, the Panthers and the Bears are set to scrap one another in the underdog match of the season. The Carolina Panthers have Steve Smith and his ability to dominate the game as well as a more experienced coaching staff. The bet is that the Bears can capitalize on their home field advantage and take the Panthers.

As for the last game, the big enchilada, this is one NFL prediction that is going to be difficult to back up, but the easy choices for the final match-up are the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have an amazing team this year and could have very easily taken the record from the Dolphins and are certain to play all that much harder for missing out and the Patriots are just seemingly unstoppable. Their experience and the momentum from last year's win will carry them once again to the big game.
