NFL preseason picks is on the minds of thousands of raging NFL betting fans now that the start of the 2012 pro football preseason has begun. The Hall of Fame Game kicked off the preseason in style with the Saints beating the Cardinals 17-10 at home. This season we hired another expert sports handicapper, Luke Williams, and with his extensive NFL knowledge, we are glad to share his NFL picks free of charge. Don't worry, our very own Mike "The Picker" Jones will return for his eighth NFL betting pro-season. Mike has been on fire for the last four NFL betting seasons and for the first time in a long time left off on a low note, predicting the Patriots to win by four points over the G-Men!

Take a look at Luke's NFL preseason picks listed below, good luck betting on the preseason and most of all have fun the entire 2012-2013 Pro Football season!

NFL Preseason Picks Week 4

Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills (Lions -1.5) Thursday 6:30pm

This one seems like a no-brainer, but the starters tend to play a bit less in the final game of the preseason. So when the Detroit Lions (3-0) head to Orchard Park to play the Buffalo Bills (1-2) on Thursday, September 1st, we may see the Buffalo starters playing against the Lions' backups because the Bills obviously need the work a lot more than Detroit. I'm still going with the Lions as 1.5 point favorites because I think the Lions are finally systematically sound.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Washington Redskins (Buccaneers +7) Thursday 7:30pm

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) have not looked as solid as people have expected them to look so far in the 2011 NFL Preseason, but when they head north to face the Washington Redskins on Thursday, I think we will see some gritty football from Tampa Bay. This team has a lot of weapons on offense and should be gaining enough familiarity by now, that they should be able to cover the 7-point spread. They may not win, but they will cover.

Tennessee Titans vs New Orleans Saints (Saints -3) Thursday 8:00pm

The New Orleans Saints (2-1) flexed their muscles against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night with a 40-20 victory, but they will now face the Tennessee Titans (1-2) on Thursday night at home. New Orleans actually opened up that big lead against Oakland with their backups and they will do it again this week. Brees and company may not play long, but with Sean Payton's play-calling in midseason form already; I like the Saints to cover at the Superdome.

NFL Preseason Picks Week 3

Packers vs Colts (Packers -9) Friday 8:00PM ET

The Green Bay Packers will probably be displaying their starters for the entire first half of their week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. With the Indianapolis offense in shambles without Peyton Manning, I think that the Packers will win and put up plenty of points to cover that spread. The Colts have not gotten anything going on offense so far this preseason, and this weekend will be no different.

Patriots vs Lions (Patriots -3.5) Saturday 8:00PM ET

The New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions have both scored over 30 points in each of their preseason games so far, but the only difference is that New England has done most of that without their Starting quarterback on the field. I think the Patriots will pull away early in this game and when the Lions start inching closer to covering, New England will put them away with another score or two and make it seem more lopsided than it really was.

Saints vs Raiders (Saints -4.5) Sunday 8:00PM ET

Don't be fooled by the New Orleans Saints 27-14 loss against the Houston Texans this week. Since the Saints play the Texans in week 3 of the regular season, Sean Payton chose to not show his hand and left his bag of tricks at home, but look for Drew Brees and company to come out and smoke the Oakland Raiders on the West Coast this weekend.

NFL Preseason Picks Week 2

Patriots vs Buccaneers (NE +2.5) Thursday 7:30PM ET

In a game where the New England offense will face more of a real defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, things are going to go differently this week for the Patriots. They will win, but in very close fashion while Tampa Bay covers at home. Tampa shut out Kansas City 25-0 on the road last week and I believe that they will push the Patriots to the brink in this game.

Redskins vs Colts (Washington -5.5) Friday 7:00PM ET

The Indianapolis Colts looked lost last week against the St. Louis Rams and this week will get no easier, as they prepare to host a confident bunch in the Washington Redskins. Look for the Redskins defense to create some scoring opportunities in Peyton Manning's absence and cover the spread easily in this one. The Colts offense will struggle, thus putting too much pressure on their second and third string defenses.

Bills vs Broncos (Denver -4) Saturday 8:30PM ET

The Buffalo Bills were not able to muster too much offense in last week's loss, putting up just three points against a tough Chicago Bears defense. They will score more than three points this week, but not enough to cover the spread on the road against the Denver Broncos at home. Denver will be trying to get repeat performances out of Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn, but will be looking for major improvements from Kyle Orton.

NFL Preseason Picks Week 1

Colts vs Rams (Indianapolis +7) Saturday 8:00pm ET

The Indianapolis Colts will be very tough during the regular season, but things will be different when they take the field against the St. Louis Rams on Saturday evening. Peyton Manning will not be active and I think St. Louis will win their opener as they expect some serious progression from the offense this season. Look for St. Louis to win en route to their first preseason win of the season but not cover the one touchdown spread.
