NFL Week 15 Predictions 2010 - Bet Falcons vs Seahawks - Sunday, December 19th, 4:05PM ET FOX

The NFL week 15 predictions 2010 on the NFL football betting season are out on the Atlanta Falcons vs the Seattle Seahawks Sunday late afternoon football match-up. This Sunday the Atlanta Falcons head to Qwest Field as a 6 point favorite to battle the Seattle Seahawks.

The Atlanta Falcons offense vs the Seattle Seahawks defense favor the Falcons. The Falcons are 9th in yards and 5th in points, but the Seahawks are 31st in yards allowed and 24th in points allowed. The Falcons will do what they want against this 31st ranked passing defense. If they decide to run the ball, ok then. They have one of the best running backs in the game, Michael Turner, against this 20th ranked rushing defense. The NFL week 15 predictions 2010 advantage goes to the Falcons.

The Seattle Seahawks offense vs the Atlanta Falcons defense also favor the Falcons. The Seahawks are 27th in yards and 21st in points, while the Falcons are 17th in yards allowed but are 7th in points allowed. The Falcons give up a lot of passing yards, 24th in passing defense. It will be interesting to see if the Seahawks, who are 16th in passing offense, are able to throw the ball against a team that is 6th in getting interceptions. The problem with the Seahawks is they give up a lot of interceptions, so I am giving the NFL predictions advantage to the Falcons because the Seahawks just make mistakes and the Falcons don't make a lot of mistakes.

The special teams are a little more even, but slightly favor the Seahawks. The Falcons are 2nd in kickoff return average and 12th in punt return average, while the Seahawks are 6th in kickoff return average and 4th in punt return average. The Falcons are 12th in kickoff return average allowed and 25th in punt return average allowed, while the Seahawks are 10th in kickoff return average allowed and 19th in punt return average allowed. Here is the issue; the Seahawks won't be able to stop this Falcons offense, so they won't be getting a lot of punt returns. The Seahawks might not score a lot, so the Falcons won't have a lot of kickoff returns. I will still give the advantage to the Seahawks because they will have a lot of kickoff return opportunities to take at least one kickoff return for a touchdown. NFL week 15 predictions 2010 advantage goes to the Seahawks.

Both teams have two good coaching minds. The head coach of the Falcons Mike Smith lets his quarterback Matt Ryan change plays on the fly and do what he wants on offense. The Falcons offense looks like the Indianapolis Colts' offense as far as doing no huddles, and Matt Ryan looking like Colts quarterback Peyton Manning when it comes to changing plays at the line of scrimmage (don't worry, I'm not actually comparing the 2, but just saying what the offense looks like). The head coach for the Seahawks is Pete Carroll. He was the coach of USC college football team, and was great at it. He brings a college type atmosphere in this team. It's a good thing because college like is wilding up the team and from that, it gets the fans going. It will be hard for Pete Carroll to figure out a plan to take down this offense, considering the fact that Matt Ryan is always changing things up. Advantage goes to the Falcons.

My NFL week 15 predictions 2010 on the Atlanta Falcons vs the Seattle Seahawks Sunday late afternoon football game is out. The Falcons will do what they want on offense, whether it's throwing the ball or running the ball. The only way the Seahawks are going to stay in this game is with their special teams. If they can be successful when they get opportunities, they can stay in this game. I do think that they can return one for a touchdown, but that's it for this team. The Falcons win this one 31-10.
