Odds on Tiger Woods Missing Masters Cut

The last time Tiger Woods was away from golf as long as he currently has been, Tiger was recuperating from knee surgery following his epic win at the 2008 U.S. Open. In his first tournament nearly nine months later, Tiger only lasted one day at the 2009 Match Play Championship. He will he fare at this year's Masters after not playing since last November and with a sex scandal changing his personal life forever?

Bodog still lists Tiger as the betting favorite to win despite very little practice and no warm-up tournament, and most Tour players still say Tiger is the favorite. But you can bet at Bodog's golf odds on whether Woods might miss the cut for the first time at an event since the 2009 British Open - if Tiger does miss the 36-hole cut, it pays +500 at Bodog.

Augusta National is Tiger's favorite course, so it seems unlikely he doesn't play on the weekend. But where will he finish? Woods hasn't won this major since 2005 but also hasn't finished worse than sixth since then, including two runner-up finishes. Bodog lists first through third place and 11th or worse as the opening 2/1 betting favorite. Tiger has finished worse than 11th just three times since winning his first green jacket in 1997.
