Holiday Bowl Betting Preview
Oregon (9-3) vs. Oklahoma State (9-3)
Tuesday, 8:00 pm Eastern - ESPN

SBG Global Opening Line:
Oklahoma State -3, Total 77

There should be a lot of points scored on Tuesday night if history is any indication. The Holiday Bowl is usually one of the highest scoring and most exciting bowl games of the season and that could be the case again on Tuesday as #13 Oklahoma State faces #15 Oregon. "We're very excited about heading to San Diego for the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl," Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy said. "It was a tremendous experience for me as a player and I'm happy our team will get to enjoy San Diego and the festivities that surround a great bowl game. ... We look forward to playing an excellent Oregon team." The Cowboys are averaging 41.6 points per game while the Ducks are averaging 41.9 points per game. SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Oklahoma State at Home.

Oregon is led by running back Jeremiah Johnson who had 1,082 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. Junior LeGarrette Blount had 928 yards and a school record 16 rushing TDs. Oklahoma State is led by running back Kendall Hunter who had 1,518 yards and also scored 14 touchdowns. "Both of these teams run the ball really well," Oregon coach Mike Bellotti said. "But in the final analysis the team that plays the best defense in the game is going to win." That could be a problem for the Cowboys considering they were not very good all season and now will be without defensive coordinator Tim Beckman, who has taken the head coaching job at Toledo. The Cowboys will try and stop an Oregon team that scored 65 points in their win against Oregon State. The Ducks averaged 51.7 points per game in their last three games. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 716 yards with six TDs and no interceptions during the winning streak. Oklahoma State also has a solid quarterback in Zac Robinson who threw for 2,735 yards and 24 touchdown passes.

SBG Global Current Line: Oklahoma State -2.5, Total 76.5
