Phil Laak is one of the best Poker players currently playing today. Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1972, Phil Laak a.k.a "Unabomber" had his first good look at the power of winning money with Poker as a young boy camping in the woods with his friends. This realization came when they played "Between The Sheets" and he saw how the boys with the most money would swoop in and take the pot at the most opportune times. Phil Laak dates film star Jennifer Tilly and is the current host of "E! Hollywood Holdem".

Phil Laak began playing competitive Poker in 1999. His credits include placing sixth at the World Poker Tour in 2003, twelfth at the Bellagio WPT in 2003, his most memorable game where he placed first at the WPT Invitation in 2004, and placing second at the World Series of Poker's $2500 Pot Limit Holdem event in 2005, losing to Johnny Chan. These appearances have made him one of the most followed players in today's Poker scene. At the inaugural William Hill Poker Grand Prix, Laak took home the 150,000 pound first prize after defeating Ram Vaswani.
