San Diego Chargers vs. Chicago Bears NFL PreseasonThe San Diego Chargers play their second preseason game against the Chicago Bears. The game will be on Friday, August 11th at 8:00 PM at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL. The Chargers defeated the Packers 17 - 3 in their preseason opener. The Chargers new quarterback Philip Rivers was not a disappointment. He threw for 169 first half yards going 15/21 and scoring twice. He connected on a 22 yard touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson to cap a 64 yard drive. And to start the second quarter he marched 86 yards on 18 plays.

The Chicago Bears toppled the San Diego Chargers 24 - 3 for their first preason win. Defensive player of the year, Brian Urlacher intercepted a pass on the game's third play from scrimmage and returned it 64 yards for a touchdown. At the end of the first quarter Rashied Davis returned a kickoff 100 yards for another touchdown. After a shaky start last week quarterback Rex Grossman looked much better going 7/14 for 83 yards. Running back rookie PJ Pope had 14 carries for 56 yards.
