The Dallas Cowboys are 2-0 in preseason play. They beat the Seahawks 13 - 3 in week 1. Dallas coach Bill Parcells wanted to see what back-up quarterback Tony Romo could do. He played the entire game and completed 19 of 25 for 235 yards with one touchdown. He was especially sharp in the first half going 12 of 15 for 154 yards. Terrell Owens was injured and signing autographs back at camp. Week 2 they crushed the Saints 30 - 7. Drew Bledsoe made 2 touchdown passes on his preseason debut. He went 12/16 for 156 yards. Backup Tony Romo went 6/8 for 138 yards with one touchdown.
The offense and the defense both helped the Cowboys beat the 49ers 17 - 7. They are now 3-0 for the preseason. The 49ers fell to 1-2. Terry Glen made an awesome touchdown catch and caught a 52 yard pass in double coverage. Bledsoe went 12 of 17 for 200 yards with one touchdown. Thompson had 11 carries for 65 yards and Glenn had 4 receptions for 98 yards with one touchdown.

The 49ers had only 78 yards against Dallas' starting defense. Alex Smith then threw a 15 yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Vernon Davis against the second-string defense in the third quarter. Smith finished 9 of 14 for 93 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
