Sports Betting Predictions

There are more than 13 million results when you do a Google search for sports betting predictions. Many of the websites warn of scammers who only want to take your money. There are sites that claim to have had a brick and mortar sports predictions business for 30 years and are now on the Internet, and there are sites that are brand new. There are sports predictions websites for every sport there is.

Almost every website offers free sports predictions as well as premium ones that you pay for. There are several different kinds of sports predictions. It's as simple as which team is predicted to win to more complex predictions like how many points the winning team will win by or the point spread. You can also place a bet based on sports predictions that span several teams, predicting which team will win each game. This is called a parlay. There are about as many ways to bet as there are sports betting predictions.

Some sports predictions come about through the use of sophisticated software. Other sports predictions are based on information such as reported and unreported injuries, weather, team issues, and a host of information applicable to a particular team.

You can have sports predictions delivered to your email account from several different websites, and then chose a website to place your bid. Choosing a website requires several different considerations: how long they have been in business, the bonuses they offer, the kinds of funding options and even the "juice" charged. If a website claims extremely high winning percentages, this might be a red flag.

Purchasing sports predictions doesn't come cheap. You may spend under one hundred dollars for predictions for one day, up to several hundred dollars for a package spanning three months or longer.

Some sportsbooks offer "futures" wagering. An example of futures wagering would be to bet months ahead of time on which team will go to the Super Bowl. Another example of "futures" wagering might be which baseball team will hit the most home runs. One thing about "futures" wagering is that you place your bet based on the sports predictions at the time you wagered. Injuries or other situations would not change your odds or your pick, as it would be locked in. This could work in your favor if you placed a futures wager at odds of 10-1 and by the time the game was played the odds had changed to 5-1. If your team or player wins, you will be paid at the odds printed on your ticket - in this case, the higher odds. Of course, this type of wager can also backfire if there is an injury or suspension, or some other unforeseen situation. There are typically no refunds on futures wagers.
