The organizers of Lingerie Bowl VI are now racing against the clock for the same thing as last year, approval from the city of Tampa Bay. Lingerie Bowl VI is being organized by Los Angeles-based Horizon Production Inc. and the Lingerie Football League. Besides getting permission from Tampa City Council, they still need to submit proof of insurance for the players and off-duty police officers for the event. Lingerie Bowl VI is scheduled for January 30th and 31st on a vacant construction site on Rome, between Fig and Gray streets, a few blocks north of Kennedy Boulevard. Four teams are set to square off in the "garter and lace conference" semifinals the first day; the Tampa Breeze, Miami Caliente, Phoenix Scorch and Los Angeles Temptation.
