Super Bowl Halftime Lingerie Bowl VIThe Super Bowl Halftime Lingerie Bowl is now a huge fan favorite for millions of Super Bowl fans across the World. Ever since its debut during the 2004 Super Bowl, the Lingerie Bowl has had some tough criticism and sponsorship problems. So much so that it was cancelled last year for Super Bowl XLII, due to the organizers failing to get permits from the city of Scottsdale, Arizona in time to hold the event. We can only hope this controversial two-day Super Bowl event stays with us for many years to come.![]() The organizers of Lingerie Bowl VI are now racing against the clock for the same thing as last year, approval from the city of Tampa Bay. Lingerie Bowl VI is being organized by Los Angeles-based Horizon Production Inc. and the Lingerie Football League. Besides getting permission from Tampa City Council, they still need to submit proof of insurance for the players and off-duty police officers for the event. Lingerie Bowl VI is scheduled for January 30th and 31st on a vacant construction site on Rome, between Fig and Gray streets, a few blocks north of Kennedy Boulevard. Four teams are set to square off in the "garter and lace conference" semifinals the first day; the Tampa Breeze, Miami Caliente, Phoenix Scorch and Los Angeles Temptation. The winners would play the next day for the Lingerie Bowl VI Trophy. ![]() Super Bowl Predictions from Expert Capper Mike Jones and the 2010 Super Bowl Betting Odds!
