Tennessee Titans vs. Green Bay Packers - Week 4 Preseason Betting

Week 4 preseason betting for the 2006 NFL season is here. The Tennessee Titans play their final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. The game is set for Friday, September 1st at 4:00 PM at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Titans are still looking for their first preseason win. They lost in week 1 to the Saints 19 - 16. Titans quarterback Billy Volek played well going 4/7 for 55 yards as well as No. 3 pick Vince Young. He nailed a 50-yard pass into the arms of Roydell Williams but he couldn't hold on. Young was 4/11 for 54 yards and ran 4 times for 28 yards. They lost during week 2 35 - 10 to the Broncos. Last week the Falcons beat them 20 - 6. Tennessee had a total of 274 yards. Volek was 14/22 for 141 yards and Young was 6/10 for 96 yards.





The Packers are 1-2 for the preseason. They lost in week 1 to the Chargers 17 - 3. Brett Favre could not get much going which disappointed Green Bay's new coach Mike McCarthy. Favre went 5/10 for 66 yards and was sacked twice. Aaron Rodgers came in and went 9/11 for 124 yards. During week 2 they beat the Falcons 38 - 10. Brett Favre was 16 of 22 for 134 yards with two touchdown passes. Running back Arliss Beach had 9 carries for 50 yards. Rookie wide receiver Greg Jennings had 3 receptions for 115 yards with 1 touchdown. The Bengals crushed the Packers 48 - 17. It was the most points ever allowed by them in preseason. Favre played into the third quarter and finished 12 of 25 for 162 yards. He was sacked three times and had one touchdown.

Tennessee beat Green Bay 35 - 21 for their first preseason win. Titans rookie quarterback Vince Young was impressive for his first exhibition start, constantly turning third downs into first downs. He finished 8 of 17 for 80 yards with one touchdown. Running back Travis Henry had 9 carries for 41 yards with one touchdown. Wide receiver Brandon Jones had 4 receptions for 93 yards with one touchdown.

Without starting cornerbacks Al Harris and Charles Woodson the Packers defense looked soft again. Aaron Rodgers went 8 of 15 for 81 yards with one touchdown. Running back Noah Herron had 12 carries for 65 yards with one touchdown.
