Thierry Henry is a fierce striker from the Parisian suburb of Les Ulis. He was born in 1977 and began building his name playing at Monaco. In 1998 Arsene Wenger took him under his wing and helped develop the future legend. The many skills he learned help him dominate at France 98. He ended the tournament as the top goal scorer for his side with three goals. Thierry Henry continued his fury at UEFA Euro 2000 but soon after France began to struggle. AT the FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan 2002, France did not score a single goal in their group matches. Greece then defeated them in the quarter-final of the Uero 2004. France decided to make some changes and Thierry Henry took on the forward position as one of the coach's generals. During the 2005/06 World Cup preliminary matches, Thierry Henry took charge and helped France advance to the World Cup finals.

Thierry Henry is a lightening fast striker who has mastered his skills. During the 2006 World Cup he scored three goals but as a team, France lost to Italy on penalties (5-3) in the World Cup Finals, which Henry did not partake in due to leg cramps. On October 17, 2007 Thierry Henry, scoring his 42nd goal, set the new record as France's top scorer passing Michel Platini.
