Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Broadcast: Pay-per-view

Main card:

Georges St. Pierre (20-2): -400
Josh Koscheck (15-4): +300

This is the second meeting between these two fighters and although Koschek has bragged about his improvement since the first bout, St. Pierre has improved dramatically as well. Koschek has done nothing to make me think that he can match up with possibly the most well rounded fighter in MMA.

UFC Betting Pick: Georges St. Pierre -400

Stefan Struve (20-4): -150
Sean McCorkle (10-0): +120

Two enormous Heavyweights do battle with designs on climbing the UFC ladder on Saturday. Struve is a young prospect who can knock you out or submit you. However, I like the more well rounded McCrorkle in this one. Injury has been the only thing that has slowed Big Sean down.

UFC Betting Pick: Sean McCorkle +120

Jim Miller (18-2): +110
Charles Oliveira (14-0): -140

Charles Oliviera has been impressive in his first two UFC fights earning Submission of the Night in both. At UFC 124, he is matched up against a UFC veteran, Jim Miller who has been in the Octagon with some of the best and ha has lost only twice in his MMA career (to Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar). I like the experience and all around game to prevail in this one.

UFC Betting Pick: Jim Miller +110

Joe Stevenson (31-11): -300
Mac Danzig (19-8-1): +220

Two former TUF winners meet on Saturday, both trying to avenge a loss in their last bout. Danzig is an underwhelming grappler that appears to be in over his head against the well rounded and uber-aggressive Joe Stevenson. Pick the aggression in this one.

UFC Betting Pick: Joe Stevenson -300

Thiago Alves (17-7): -300
John Howard (14-4): +220

In a potential Fight of the Night, two striking machines meet in an important Welterweight bout. The winner ascends to the Top 5 of the weight class and may be in line for a Title Shot down the line.

Howard looked like an immovable force before he ran into Jake Ellenberger in his last fight. With the air of invincibility worn off, look for Howard to cave to another elite striker on his way to a second UFC loss.

UFC Betting Pick: Thiago Alves -300

Preliminary fights:

Mark Bocek (8-3): -135
Dustin Hazelett (12-6): +105

Dustin Hazelett makes his Lightweight debut on Saturday against a very tough Mark Bocek. Hazelett is a top tier grappler that may actually be a notch below Bocek. Hazelett will have the height and reach advantage, but Bocek will have the home town crowd and a better technical grappling game on his side. Expect a close fight with the Canadian coming out on top.

UFC Betting Pick: Mark Bocek -135

Matt Riddle (5-1): -300
Sean Pierson (10-4): +220

Sean Pierson will make his UFC debut on Saturday against TUF 7 alum Matt Riddle. Riddle will be looking for his third straight win against a vicious striker in Pierson. I like Pierson to get it done on home soil with his wide array of kicks, punches and knees.

UFC Betting Pick: Sean Pierson +220

Joe Doerksen (46-13): +210
Dan Miller (12-4): -280

Two jiu-jitsu Black Belts do battle on the Undercard of UFC 124. Doerksen is a true MMA veteran who has fought some of the best that the UFC has to offer. I like the experience and the well rounded game of Doerksen to overwhelm the weak striking of Miller.

UFC Betting Pick: Joe Doerksen +210

T.J. Grant (16-4): +155
Ricardo Almeida (12-4): -190

This should be a very competitive fight in the Welterweight division. Both fighters are very tough but only one has the stand up to give the other one fits.

Almeida is strictly a ground fighter who has submitted the likes of Nate Marquart and Matt Brown while Grant is surely the more well rounded fighter with strikes and good submissions. I will take the insane conditioning and overall aggressiveness of the Canadian in this one.

UFC Betting Pick: TJ Grant +155

Rafael Natal (12-3): -175
Jesse Bongfeldt (21-6): +145

Jesse Bongfeldt will make his UFC debut against Renzo Gracie jiu-jitsu Black Belt Rafael Natal. Both fighters have the ability to deliver the Knockout and both have shown that they can submit their opponents. I like the Black Belt to get his first UFC win in this one.

UFC Betting Pick: Rafael Natal -175

Pat Audinwood (9-1-1): -140
John Makdessi (7-0): +110

John Makdessi, a GSP training partner makes his UFC debut on Saturday against a durable and game Pat Audinwood who was on a four fight win streak before running into Thiago Tavares. Audinwood will have a distinct height and reach advantage and that should be enough for him to start a new win streak.

UFC Betting Pick: Pat Audinwood -140
