Week 15 Football Picks New Orleans Saints vs Baltimore Ravens![]() Drew Brees Saints Quarterback Week 15 Football Picks - Bet Saints vs Ravens - Sunday, December 19th, 1:00PM ET FOX The week 15 football picks on the 2010 NFL Football betting season are out on the New Orleans Saints vs the Baltimore Ravens Sunday afternoon football match-up. This Sunday the New Orleans Saints head to M&T Bank Stadium as a 2 1/2 point underdog to battle the Baltimore Ravens. The New Orleans Saints offense vs the Baltimore Ravens defense is a good matchup. The Saints are 3rd in yards and 6th in points, while the Ravens are 10th in yards allowed and 4th in points allowed. The Saints are dynamic in the passing game, 3rd in passing offense. They are going up against a defense that can be thrown on, 14th in passing defense. Surprisingly the Ravens don't get that many sacks, but they do rush the quarterback very well. They are going up against one of the best in protecting the quarterback. That will be a good matchup. There are so many weapons on offense that anyone can and will step up to make big plays. It also helps to have one of the best quarterbacks in the league throwing the ball around. The week 15 football picks advantage goes to the Saints. Check out BOVADA and start winning NOW! The Baltimore Ravens offense vs the New Orleans Saints defense favor the Saints. The Ravens are 18th in yards and 14th in points, while the Saints are 6th in yards allowed and 5th in points allowed. The one thing that the Saints give up is rushing yards. They are 16th in rushing defense. The Ravens have to run the ball more than what they usually do. They are only 21st in rushing offense, but they do have a good running back that can carry the load and be very successful. If they run the ball, they have a good chance against this defense. For some reason they will continue to throw the ball, which will play in the Saints favor who are 5th in passing defense. Football picks advantage goes to the Saints. The special teams are an interesting matchup. The Saints are 15th in kickoff return average and 22nd in punt return average, while the Ravens are 9th in kickoff return average but 26th in punt return average. The Saints are 19th in kickoff return average allowed and 28th in punt return average allowed, while the Ravens are last in kickoff return average allowed but 6th in punt return average. The only reason why the Saints are this low in punt returns is because their explosive returner, Reggie Bush, has been injured. He is now back and healthy and might be going back to punt returns. If that's the case, I believe that he will be the difference in this matchup. If he is not taking punt returns, then the advantage goes to the Ravens because they are very good in punt defense and on kick returns. As of right now I will give the week 15 football picks advantage to the Ravens unless I know that Reggie Bush will be in the return game. This is a great coaching matchup. Saints head coach Sean Payton has his team clicking at the right time. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has done a great job with this defense. Also, it does help when you have a coach on the field as well, and that's what Drew Brees is. The Ravens head coach John Harbaugh came from Andy Reid who is the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. He brought everything he learned to this team and is now playing very well. The Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers which was one of the best offensive teams when he was there. This is a very even matchup, but for me personally, I will most likely take the great quarterback who knows what audible to call before the snap than a defensive minded coach. That is why I am giving the advantage to the Saints. My week 15 football picks on the New Orleans Saints vs Baltimore Ravens Sunday afternoon football game is out. The Ravens need to get back to what we are used to seeing out of them on defense. We saw last week of their vulnerability on defense. This game is at home, and this is a big game for them, so this should motivate them. They need to run the ball more. I don't know why they like to throw the ball so much. They have a good running back, Ray Rice, who should be one of the best running backs in the game if he was given the ball. If they don't run the ball, I don't see them winning. The Saints are playing like the champions they are. They are just on fire and don't look like they are stopping any time soon. The Saints are going to win this one in a shocking score 31-20. --- by Eric Price at 1800-sports.com on December 14, 2010
