I think North Carolina covers the -2 1/2 spread. [L] Maryland vs West Virginia College Football Predictions: If you are looking for a solid underdog play for college football's Week-3, then I suggest Maryland getting +10 ATS (Bodog.com) at West Virginia. My official pick on this game is the side but I am tempted to lay a small wager for a SU Maryland win. East Carolina has a prolific offense under McNeils direction and will score some points. I don't see the Hokies scoring enough points to get three TD's ahead of ECU. Don't hesitate - take the Pirates +20. [L] Northern Illinois vs Illinois College Football Picks: This game is under-lined in my opinion. I look for the Illini to easily handle NIU in this one. Take Illinois -7 ATS. [L] Cal vs Nevada College Football Predictions: I will continue to go against Nevada in big games against BCS foe until they can show me they can win the games. History shows me they won't. Cal is my play -2 1/2. [L] Kansas vs Southern Miss College Football Picks: In reality, I see these two programs as even and the game, a pick.
